Sunrise is my family’s business, which we have owned & operated for over 100 years. It was founded in Hibbing, MN by my great-grandfather, Guilio in 1913. Since then we have been producing hundreds of gourmet foods including dry and frozen pasta, entrees, and wide variety of bakery items.

As far back as I can remember, my family’s bakery and deli business has been an integral part of my life. I have distant memories of napping on flour sacks, delivering bread on my Schwinn bike and frying donuts at age 10.
Since those formative years, I have come to fully understand the value my family placed on hard work and the importance of using only quality ingredients when crafting products that we stamp our family name on. As the 4th generation owner, I am more determined than ever to see our 5th generation keep the tradition alive.
I opened our first brick and mortar, outside of Hibbing, in December of 2013, a 400 square foot store-front located in a very off-the-beaten-path in a St. Paul industrial park. With your help, we have the opportunity to re-locate to the heart of St. Paul’s famous Grand Avenue.

We offer a wonderful amount of items, including our new line of gluten free pasta and pizza, a unique variety of Minnesota made as well as imported foods, soups, sandwiches and salads
Our daily morning offerings consist of fresh brewed coffee to compliment our famous line bakery treats, such as potica, coffee cakes and biscotti. Porketta sandwiches, pizza, pasties, soups and sandwiches are served for lunch and dinner daily, eat in or take out.
